The seat is 104 cm deep from front edge to back cushion. Sitting upright with your feet on the floor is possible only if you are tall; everyone else sits with their legs tucked up, which is what it is for. Two people can lie along it head to toe.
All of the cushions are feather and down in baffled chambers around a thin foam core. They are the softest seats we make and they need the most work: plumped every few days, turned every month. A feather sofa that is never plumped looks tired within a season and that is not a fault we can replace.

The things about this piece and its materials that people most often wish they had known first.
- Needs plumping every few days; feather fill is high-maintenance by nature
- Too deep to sit upright in for most people; measure your calf length against 104 cm
- Feathers work through the ticking occasionally; pull them out rather than pushing them back
- At 224 cm it will not turn on most apartment stair landings; see the dimensions guide
- Two-person delivery is essential and we will confirm access before dispatch
