Thirty-eight centimetres to the top of the seat, which is low. It is the sofa for reading with your legs up and for afternoon sleep, and it is honestly not the sofa for anyone who finds getting out of a low chair hard; the open-frame sofa sits five centimetres higher and suits them better.
Every cushion is feather and down around a foam core. That gives the crumpled, sat-in look in the photographs and it also means the cushions need turning and plumping. Left alone for a month they flatten.
