An open oak frame with the seat and back cushions resting on it rather than hidden inside it. The seat is sprung, so it does not sag in the middle after a year the way a foam-only seat does; the back cushions are feather around a foam core and need plumping about once a week.
The linen is washed before it is cut, which takes the stiffness out and means the cover will not shrink further. It creases from the first afternoon. If you want a sofa that looks pressed, this is the wrong fabric and we would rather say so here.

Furniture is delivered by two people to the kerb or the ground-floor entrance for a flat €29,00 within the EU, free from €400,00. Carrying upstairs and unpacking can be added when we confirm the delivery date. Lead time for this piece: 5 to 7 weeks, made to order.
Anything unused can come back within 30 days; we collect furniture for a fixed fee stated before you confirm. If it arrives damaged, photographs are enough and we put it right. The full policy.
