A traditional shape, a scrolled back and a short skirt that hides the feet, with a linen cover that comes off in three pieces and washes at 40 °C. We are changing the pattern next season to a longer skirt, and this cut is reduced until it is gone. The higher price is the one we charged for at least 30 consecutive days in the last six months.
Like the sofa, the cover is loose and moves. The skirt in particular rides up when the chair is dragged across a carpet.

The things about this piece and its materials that people most often wish they had known first.
- Loose cover shifts and needs tucking back in
- Skirt rides up on carpet; lift the chair rather than drag it
- Linen shrinks about 3% on the first wash, allowed for in the cut
- Reduced because the pattern is changing, not because of any fault
- Replacement covers for this cut will remain available for five years
