An arm that reaches 42 cm out from the wall and pivots, with a shade that tilts, so the light goes onto the book and not into the eyes of whoever is next to you. It comes with a 2 m fabric cable and an inline switch and plugs into a socket; a hard-wired version is available on request.
The spun shade is open at the bottom only, so almost no light spills upwards.
